About Us

The Northbrook Girls Softball Association offers both House League and Travel softball programs.

Our spring House League program is specifically designed for girls regardless of experience, ability, or residency. Having fun and instruction without pressure are the main priorities of the House League. This program is for girls in kindergarten through 8th grade. There is a main spring season in April and May, summer clinics called House League Plus in June and July, fall league in September and October, and indoor spring pre-season clinics in March.

Spartan Travel is a division of NGSA's community based program that develops committed players for the high school level through teaching softball and athletic skills, leadership, and sportsmanship. We field teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U levels. Tryouts for the Travel teams take place at the end of each summer for the following year. The program is year round and teams participate in Fall ball and winter indoor practice and conditioning to appropriately prepare and develop for the Spring/Summer Travel season.

The NGSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All funds received by the NGSA go to support our girls softball programs. Our board of directors are all volunteer members.
